The City of Coppell has partnered with M&M Irrigation and Illumination to provide residential sprinkler system evaluations-at no charge to residents- to increase sprinkler efficiency and protect the City water resources into the future. The evaluation program provides a comprehensive look at your sprinkler system, including components, controller, and current watering schedule. As part of the program, participants will also receive a valuable, detailed report with recommended changes to help increase efficiency and reduce water waste.

Who can participate:
Coppell residents with a water utility account and an in-ground automatic sprinkler system are eligible to participate in the evaluation program. An evaluation can be requested by homeowners or tenants. Qualifying residents may request one evaluation per 12 months. Note, this program is not available for commercial utility accounts.

Evaluations are for a maximum of one controller with no more than 24 zones.

How It Works:
Fill out and submit the form below to request an evaluation. Requests are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Once your request is submitted, a representative from M&M Irrigation and Illumination will contact you to schedule an evaluation date and time convenient for you.

During your appointment, a licensed irrigator will discuss proper irrigation system and controller maintenance and operation with you, as well as provide information on efficient watering habits. Note, an adult must be present to walk the property with the evaluator at the appointment time.

No repairs or adjustments will be made, but a report of findings will be provided to both the resident and the City. This report will provide you with suggested irrigation system repairs, as well as recommended controller settings. This report includes an estimate of gallons of water saved every week if the recommendations for controller runtimes are implemented.

No Shows or cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may result in forfeiture of the service for the property
